This place is very good. I am from Texas, so I have strong opinions about Mexican food. The refried beans are not too fattening yet still have a good flavor. The chicken tinga is VERY GOOD. The rice is the best Mexican rice I have found since leaving Texas. My husband had the enchiladas and he loved them. He said the pork in chili verde was the best one.

I ordered take out while my wife was en route home via Chilacates. I don’t normally do the ordering because my wife and children are much faster and adept at using the sites … m it I found the Chilacates platform impressively straightforward to use and the sheer number of preparations and variations mind boggling. Really easy to use even for index finger pecking me. My wife had half of the HUGE “PATRON” shrimp burrito, with added corn, guacamole, platano maduro, and salsa verde. She loved the balance of flavors with the sweet maduro complementing the shrimp and black beans with mild accents of onion flavor. She rated this as the best burrito she’s tasted. I had the carnitas bowl with both kinds of beans, corn, guacamole, and maduros. The attached pic illustrates its lovely presentation. I enjoyed the flavors along with the delicate refried beans. The maduros stole the accompaniments show though the carnitas were the star - moist and flavorful but not overly seasoned. Just right. My wife’s Patron was nice and warm but my bowl was from room temperature for the carnitas to cold for the guacamole. Our house is just a 5 min drive from the restaurant. I hope that this is not the way the bowls are prepared normally. I used our magic microwave to heat the meal with 60 sec of high and the meal came to life.

Another great find from searching Google maps. Great atmosphere with tasty food. I had the fish Burrito with black beans, rice, mixed vegetables and cheese. My wife had vegetable enchiladas with black beans and rice. Plus, a from Mexico glass bottle Coca Cola. Staff seemed nice. Very nice restroom. If you are in the area, I can suggest trying out Chilacates.

Very solid first expierence. I went and tried two things I've never tried before a torta, and beef tongue. It wasn't offputting as it sounds its like a soft steak. Nothing blew me away but I look forward to visiting again as everything was very well made and the service was quick.

Really tasty tortas and enchiladas. The seating is a little tight and is really on suitable for 3 moderate sized groups. So don't have high expectations of being able to dine in.

The service is good . They have plenty of parking . I ordered the steak quesadilla with a Mexican Soda. The cost was about $20.00 . The quesadilla came with guacamole, sour cream , and pico de gallo included in the price . The food portions were good . They were generous with the guacamole as well . The bathrooms were clean and the establishment was clean . They have amble seating inside and outside . I chose to eat outside on this beautiful evening my dinner , which I mentioned above . They have free mints in the front counter.

The tortas and the burritos from Chilacates are our favorite! We also ask for the salsa verde and roja which pair deliciously. We always make an effort to stop by when we are in the area. For a sweet treat we also like their tres leches cake.
